ArcticNet’s Fifth Integrated Regional Impact Studies (IRIS)

ArcticNet is pleased to publish its fifth and final Integrated Regional Impact Studies (IRIS) report for the Yukon and Northwest Territories. For over 20 years, ArcticNet has helped develop knowledge and expertise required to document and address Northern change. The IRIS reports are designed to inform evidence-based decision-making and enable effective and socially desirable adaptation strategies. Dr. Philippe Archambault, Scientific Director of ArcticNet, was recently named as a recipient of the prestigious King Charles III Coronation Medal. On 9 May 2024, Dr. Christine Barnard, Executive Director of ArcticNet, participated in the meeting of the Standing Committee on Science and Research at the House of Commons.  Since its inception in 2004, ArcticNet has been recognized as a global leader in developing multidisciplinary research to address ongoing Arctic challenges.
