She has a background in plant ecology and has worked with a range of empirical approaches and models to study the impact of environmental changes on plant and animal communities. She has been passionate about the North ever since she worked on these lands for the first time in 2007. She also works hand-in-hand with different organizations and initiatives to make Arctic research as inclusive and diverse as it can be.
Claude Levesque
André Proulx2023-05-29T14:25:44-04:00Claude joined the ArcticNet team in 2017 with nearly 15 years of experience in research organizations including two Networks of Centres of Excellence, a research centre and an innovation network. She is responsible, among other things, for the administrative management of ArcticNet core research program and the annual scientific meetings (ASMs) scientific program.
Shirin Nuesslein
André Proulx2023-01-18T15:11:47-04:00Shirin is the Inuit Research Advisor (IRA) Coordinator. She is responsible for training support and opportunities for IRAs and is a program coordinator for the Inuit Nunangat Research Program (INRP). Shirin comes to this position with experience in Northern environmental health research and research administration. She is passionate about enhancing research capacity at the grassroots.
