I am currently working towards my PhD in archaeology at Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador. My research includes a thorough analysis of the total archaeological assemblage from archaeological site FjCa-51 (also called Sheshatshiu 3) located in Sheshatshiu, Labrador, a critical review of the current understanding of the Intermediate Period within the Atlantic Northeast, and a discussion of past and present cultural resource management practices in relation to the Intermediate Period within Labrador, and the Lake Melville region.
