Principles and best practices of Research Data Management
Good Research Data Management (RDM) practices increase scientific integrity, quality, and data reuse. Recognizing this, RDM has become a renewed priority for the Canadian Tri-agencies (CIHR, SSHRC, and NSERC) with a new policy. In this webinar, Dr. Anna Armond will discuss the principles and best practices of data management and sharing.
Dr. Anna Catharina Armond is a postdoctoral fellow at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, Centre for Journalology. Dr. Armond is a dentistry graduate with a Ph.D. in Health Sciences in the Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine program from the University of Debrecen, Hungary. In the past five years, she has worked on several European projects on meta-research, research ethics, and integrity. She is also a co-founder of the Embassy of Good Science platform. Currently, she is part of the Ottawa Data Champions project – a research data management (RDM) training program to improve the quality of data management and sharing in biomedicine.
