ArcticNet and Arctic Basecamp sign MoU

ArcticNet is pleased to announce this partnership of many to further Arctic science: We have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Arctic Basecamp. ArcticNet Projects Aboard the CCGS Amundsen, 2023 The 2023 scientific expedition aboard the Canadian Coast Guard Ship (CCGS) Amundsen is hosting several ArcticNet-funded projects this year again. The scientific icebreaker Amundsen left its home port of Quebec City on July 8th, 2023 for a 111-day journey across the Arctic. The science activities of several ArcticNet-funded projects will take place during legs 2, 3 and 4 of the expedition, from August 10th to October 26th. The research programs supported in 2023 will study the arctic and subarctic marine ecosystems through multidisciplinary research activities and integrated studies targeting the physical, chemical and biological environments and...
