ArcticNet and Arctic Basecamp sign MoU
ArcticNet is pleased to announce this partnership of many to further Arctic science: We have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Arctic Basecamp. This MoU between ArcticNet and Arctic Basecamp will promote northern research and culture while supporting the exchange of knowledge and fostering the creation of synergies in Arctic research between researchers, institutions, communities, governments, and the private sector.
The MoU was signed on September 5th, 2023.
“We are thrilled with this MOU, as ArcticNet and Arctic Basecamp commit to mobilizing Arctic research results and Indigenous knowledge on northern systems to a broad audience. Understanding the state of the Arctic, viewed through diverse lenses, is key for society to understand the North and to collectively adapt to ongoing change.” – Dr. Christine Barnard, ArcticNet Executive Director
