Indigenous groups and Territorial Premiers have for years called for support to enhance capacity and leadership within Canada’s Arctic and northern science agenda. In direct response to these calls, ArcticNet’s Inuit Research Management and Territorial Advisory Committees developed the North-by-North Program in 2019. Over the years, the program has supported Indigenous and northern-led research and training. The program is divided into three subprograms:

•  Inuit Qaujisarnirmut Pilirijjutit (IQP)
• Northern Research Leaders Program
• First Nations Research Program
