Dr. Philippe Archambault named recipient of King Charles III Coronation Medal
Dr. Philippe Archambault, Scientific Director of ArcticNet, was recently named as a recipient of the prestigious King Charles III Coronation Medal. This renowned award honors individuals who have made significant contributions to Canada, across diverse fields from the local community to the global stage.
Dr. Archambault was nominated by Université Laval and Universities Canada. He is honoured for his national and international work in establishing marine protected areas in Canada and for influencing high-level environmental decisions at the United Nations.
ArcticNet is extremely proud of Dr. Archambault for receiving this esteemed honour. It is of no surprise to the network, as Dr. Archambault continues to be a dedicated and passionate scientist.
