Camille Lavoie

I am currently in a benthic ecology lab at Laval University in Quebec City. I specialize into the study of kelp forests and their associate biodiversity in the Canadian Arctic. As an undergrad student I spent a lot of time doing taxonomy of the benthic invertebrates which led me to be invited to two scientific missions aboard research vessels. During my last mission, I was astounded by the amount of kelp in coastal areas of the Arctic and how they were filled with life, I hope I can help increase our knowledge about these amazing habitats.
