Caila Kucheravy

I began my master’s degree in the department of Biological Sciences at the University of Manitoba in September 2022. My research is focused on the population demographics of killer whales around Baffin Island, Nunavut. I plan to use genetics and photo-identification to determine the size and structure of this population, who appear to be expanding their presence in the eastern Canadian Arctic.
