Aidan Oliver

I am currently a Master’s candidate at the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs, studying security and defence policy. I completed my undergraduate at the University of Toronto in Political and Environmental Science (with a minor in French, so I can speak a bit!). My undergraduate thesis focused on Arctic security and the nexus between climatic and geopolitical change. I have worked with the Department of National Defence for the last year and a half on Climate Security, and am planning to learn more about how Canada’s engagement in the Arctic can incorporate the lived experience of Indigenous peoples.
