ASM2005
La deuxième réunion scientifique annuelle (ASM) d’ArcticNet a eu lieu du 13 au 16 décembre 2005 au Banff Centre à Banff, Alberta.
Avec plus de 275 participants, l’événement a été une formidable occasion de réseautage qui a permis aux chercheurs, étudiants, partenaires du réseau et membres du conseil d’administration et du comité scientifique de se rencontrer, de présenter de nombreux résultats de recherche et de tenir des ateliers de travail thématiques.
Plus de 40 présentations orales et 150 affiches scientifiques relevant de tous les domaines de la recherche arctique ont été présentées, reflétant le caractère hautement multidisciplinaire de la recherche au sein d’ArcticNet. Témoignant du dynamisme de la relève canadienne en recherche arctique, plus de 120 étudiants et chercheurs post-doctoraux ont également participé à la première journée étudiante d’ArcticNet ainsi qu’à la réunion annuelle. Quatre étudiants ont obtenu des bourses pour l’excellence de leur affiches et de leur travail.
Le Conseil d’administration d’ArcticNet, le Comité de gestion de la recherche et le Centre administratif souhaitent remercier tous les participants qui, par leur présence et leur implication, ont contribué à faire de ce second rendez-vous annuel du réseau un véritable succès.
